Disable root user in MacOSX

You can use Terminal to disable the root user in MacOSX.
Launch Applications > Utilities > Terminal.app
Type:
Enter password.
You should see a message stating that the root user has successfully been disabled.
Launch Applications > Utilities > Terminal.app
Type:
dsenableroot -dEnter password.
You should see a message stating that the root user has successfully been disabled.
